Mosque reopening for Jumah Prayer

Mosque reopening for Jumah Prayer

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahu Wa Barakatuhu,

Alhamdulillah, Avalon Peninsula, including St. John's, is now in Alert Level 4.

Until further notice, Masjid Al Noor will remain closed for daily prayers to minimize the risk for our congregation.

However, as of Friday, March 19th, we will insha'Allah reopen for Jumah and will have two Jumah sessions.

As per public health restrictions, the maximum capacity for each Jumah session will be 10 PEOPLE ONLY.

Due to limited capacity, only brothers will be welcome for Jumah under the current Alert level.

Jumah registration links will insha'Allah be posted at MANAL website at 8 am on Wednesday, March 17th.

Please remember that you can register for Jumah only if you are older then 12 years old and if you are healthy without any Covid 19 symptoms. Also, you cannot register or attend if you are self isolating due to travel history or any other public health restriction.

Only those, who are successfully registered and received a registration confirmation email, will be admitted to Jumah prayers.

Please do not come to the mosque for Jumah without registration confirmation or if you develop any symptoms after registering.

Jazakumullahu Khairan,

MANAL Executive Committee
